A dog in distress was discovered with a large tumor which requires amputation of one of its legs according to veterinarians.
In Phetchabun Province of Thailand, a group of rescuers came across a homeless dog that appeared to be in distress due to a large tumor. It was evident that the poor dog had been suffering from this condition for a prolonged period as no one had come forward to help her earlier.
It was a long journey of nearly 6 hours for the rescuers to transport her from Phetchabun province, which is about 455.5 kilometers away, to Pattaya for medical treatment.
Small cancerous growths, like the ones found on her leg, have been identified by vets and are proving to be difficult to manage. Unfortunately, a malignant tumor on her abdomen left her with a wretched existence, forcing her to live on the streets without access to proper nourishment.
As she sat in the vet’s office, her demeanor conveyed feelings of distress and discomfort. Despite this, she managed to consume a notable quantity of nourishment.
The vets clarified that in order to cure her and eliminate the tumors from her body, they would need to amputate her leg.
Despite the fact that the injuries have already healed, she has shown remarkable improvement a month after undergoing a triumphant surgery and having the tumor removed.
As she begins to walk once more, she is becoming acquainted with her three legs.
After being rescued, she’ll be sent back to Phetchabun province where she’ll find a home and receive lifelong care from her adoptive family.
